I have been working with panel mats only. I am in the process of purchasing new ones. There are so many to choose from. What should I look for? What size is the best? How thick should they be?

Depends on your needs. If they will be directly on concrete with no other matting then they should be thicker than if they are sitting on top of something else. width and length will also depend on what your use is.

the mats will be on concrete and nothing else. What's the difference between rubber backed carpet mats, folding panel mats 1-3/8" Crosslink thick over 1" High Rebound 3570 Polyurethane or 2"? What does all this mean? I thought that the thicker the mat the more spring that it will take away from tricks like RO BHS and they will be harder to do. Is that true?
