I am having problems with my rings grips. Everytime i do giants or a lot of swinging he grip shifts and moves into an awkward positon. I have my grips on extremely tight and they still shift. They shift out torwards my pinkies. ANy ideas on how to fix this. I need a solution nationals is in a week

Is this a new problem, or one that has happened frequently in the past? Did it start with a particular skill?

I cant imagine much that would shift your grips that much, other than over use - being you are not turning the rings out enough, or you are turning them out too much.

If you have a large meet arriving soon, and you have done fine so far, I wouldnt tweak your skills until after the meet, unless it's threatening your safety - which it probably isnt.

A little more info from you and the forum might be able to give you a solid answer to what is causing your problem.
