| I was watching a video montage of Amanda Borden's routines and she did a cool fairly easy-looking dismount in one (presumably for some sort of show). It was a sole circle dismount into a front flyaway (which she half-twisted). What is this skill called? Do you know its value in the JO code? |

| This is element 8.301 in the JO code. Tucked, piked, with or without the half twist it's a C. |

It's about 3/4 the way through this montage of Amanda Borden http://www.shanfan.com/videos/montages/borden.wmv
I was just watching old movies of gymnasts from this site (partially because they're small enough that I can convert them to play on my ds) to get an idea of some different things to put in my routine to spice it up a bit. I am amazed at some of the creative things Amanda came up with - and she had some pretty good tumbling runs in there too. |

Hi
Ohh cool...toeshoot front with a half.. wasn't that like the 1992 Compulsory routine dismount for UB.
Thanks for the vid..i like the whip half combination, its always cool to see whip halfs cause they are rare. _________________ Valentin Uzunov
