This is a video game character, L. Croft, doing some pirouettes and release moves. There's some other clips of this character doing some tumbling. I don't know what part of the game this is though.

Wow wrong grip front giants on a 3" thick branch. That's impressive.

I'm actually impressed that overall the movements are pretty good, definitely some form and technique issues, but not as bad as most things like this I've seen. That's pretty funny.

Not really a tkatchev either. I have seen some footage of tkatchev front being worked or drilled.

Ever watch any of the spiderman movies, Rog, when he's doing giants?

I can honestly say most of the gymnastics I knew from a kid was probably from watching video games or movies/martial arts ( and using the rewind a lot ). I'm sure I saw a lot of the acrobatic stuff and later tried to figure it out by this method.

This video is Jagers, but yeah the guy at Stanford doing the tkatchev front is wicked.

I actually had issue with the first spiderman movie, some of the movements he did were just wrong from a physics standpoint. Changing rotational direction in mid air, pushing off a web as if it were a rigid bar, etc. They worked it out in subsequent movies though. Ok, yeah I'm a total physics nerd...
