| I was thinking of trying to make a PVC horizontal bar and stand for my 5 year old. She's only 46 pounds right now. She needs home equipment, but I don't want to spend $250 until I know she wants to stay in gymnastics a while. Has anyone tried to do this? All comments and suggestions welcome. |

I'd be extraordinarily careful trying to build a bar. You will need to make it highly stable. Cabling, or at least significant verticals sunk into the ground. I wouldn't use PVC for a bar as it will get slick very quickly and no matter what you say your daughter will try swinging on it. _________________ TipGuy
