My coach is really moody and i understand that he can be fusterated with us but i mean last week he was in a REALLY bad mood and he left early with out telling us or the owner and i think thats wron.Anyways my group last week decided we were going to work soooo hard that he really could not yell for us not trying. But today he was just bad.He came in and was in a bad mood not yelling but was not coaching us or anything.. Why do you think he is like this?? Should we confront him about it i mean the whole group is really close to him..
Thanks alot , Margaret |

I'd ask him what his problem is.
Leaving without telling anyone is unprofessional, and what would have happened with one of yous got hurt?!
If he keeps on acting like this tell the head coach or your parents.
Or atleast give him a warning. Maybe he'll get a bit scared and get his act together. |

Sounds like something in his personal life.
Still all in all, I believe in leaving the personal **** at the door while on the floor. Of course that becomes difficult if it's the gymnasts, coaches or bosses causing it.
Still smile and grin even if you're about to die. _________________ Glorify strength. "It is only by becoming stronger that a man can realize his divinity." |

A coach leaving the gym without telling anybody is simply unacceptable. This is really not an issue for the gymnasts to be dealing with. Express your concerns to the gym coordinator/owner. It's a personell issue. _________________ TipGuy

hmm, I would agree that it is probably something in the coaches personal life. Or it could be that they had a little clash with one of the other coaches and just dreads coming to the gym. Just hope that the head coach doesn't ever fire one of the best coaches in the middle of practice. That is what ours did. We all left after that. That's the worst that could happen, I would go ask the coach as a group what is on their mind? Is something wrong? Take the sensitive side to it, just don't go up and ask what is wrong with you. _________________ Gymnastics doesn't USE balls, it TAKES balls! |
