Make sure that the gymnast will be twisting in to you. Bump the set, then spot the chest around to the ground. Now, with that said, spotting a full on floor really isn't necessary. Teach a good layout. Develop a good layout with a late 1/2, then twist the full. All of this can be done without ever spotting if each step is developed properly. _________________ TipGuy

hey tipguy you are just ahead of me tonite. I agree withtip guy. Teach the half first. Once they can do a solid half, just have them pull harder and longer for the full. If you want you can have them land on a soft mat (incase they land on their buts) but you should not have to spot a full if they have a solid half. _________________ PNF stretching, the coaches revenge |
