Any DIY'ers out there who have made display cases for a growing collection of metals, plaques & trophies?
My grandson has begun to amass a collection of these and I would like to make something that can grow with his achievements. Please let me know if you know of any plans or websites that could help me. I have some ideas but would rather adopt to a proven design if i can find one...

This is how I display my daughter's medals. I bought a corkboard and hang all her medals there using pushpins Smile

nice idea with the cork board. Cheep and easy too!! I like that...
Eventually I envision some type of modular wooden 'shadowbox' type creation that can be added to. It will take some design work and materials though.
For this being his first competing season though, I think the corkboard will suffice fine. We'll see what next year brings as far as his interest level goes that is. He shows no sign of slowing now though....
Thanks for the idea!!
