Hey All,
Gotta brag a bit. Got my first giants on a strap bar tonight: I'm 52 and started about 5 years ago working out with Tipguy. VERY cool.

Way to go younger old guy! ;-)
Over or undergrip giants? In either case, I'm jealous! I'm still recovering from shoulder surgery (90% tear of glenoid labrum [capsule around head of humerus]) a few years ago. No- not a gymnastic injury... did it windsurfing.
Ganba!

Back giants. He's worked on front giants, but hasn't quite gotten them yet. We've been focusing on the back giants recently because he was so close. It was awesome. Cheers all around the gym. _________________ TipGuy

There was a really good energy floating through the gym last night. Some of the girls cleaned up skills are had small first on bars. Kip, cast hand for one girl, cast hand for another.
The feeling was very electric. Another thing that added was that the optionals were very supportive to TipGuy's group.
Damn, I wanted a turn in straps after you did that. Grr.

Thanks Steve.
Actually, I'm still recovering from a complete longhead tendon tear that has not been repaired (gymnastics related, but mostly due to my impatience over a prior non-gymnastics injury). Still got the giant. So hang in there--it may still be quite possible.
