hi!

I am so excited and nervous!!!!

The adrenaline might help me on every event but beam. We did a mock-meet yesterday at practice and I fell off the beam 4 times because I was so nervous.

So we'll see.

I'll keep you posted!!!!

Good luck! Hey, that adrenaline might help you make your first kip in the meet (that happened to me once) Smile Beam is always a tough event to compete but you will get used to it as you get experienced at competing. Have fun!

Yes, I could still kip after that (and I can still do one even many years later Very Happy ). This happened when I was when I was a kid and the bars were very close together. I could do the between the bar kip fine (where one would sit on the low bar and kip the high bar) but I had not made a glide kip yet by myself. I was so surprised when I made it at the meet, I think I didn't know what to do for a second, then I remembered to continue the routine Very Happy

Good luck and let us know how it goes.

Hi tumblingmom. What kind of meet will it be that you are competing in? Is it a meet especially for adult or for all ages? In Australia we dont have meets for adults, I compete against the young kids. Sometimes kids as young as 6 or 7, because Australian meets go by level and not age. In some very big meets they divide into two age groups but it is like under 10 and over 10. It has never bothered me though as I am smaller than most of the rest of my team who are all around 12 years old.
